I agree with your comments about it's "a website with a different name" and what that means. Many people get confused when blogging for business purposes about how professional or unprofessional they should be. I've got multiple places where I do online writing (Rain City Guide, MSN, MySpace, here, Realty Times market conditions for REALTOR.com and such) and I write appropriate to the type of venue and for how I want to have the public perceive me as a person and an agent. Which is... professional and knowledgeable with a sense of humor.

Hi
Sounds like the blog is up and running, thanks to the advice so far. I just remember someone telling me to forget the word blog and remember this is a website with a different name. The same old rules, good content, clean links. That someone was from a community site that supports small business in our part of the world. They have a few page on website development on their site, so I included their URL instead of mine, in case you want to take a look. I think you may want other pages but the one on website optimisation looked worth a start.
