Ravenna is the kind of neighborhood that families like to call home. Located north of the University of Washington, Ravenna neighborhood is situated between I-5 and Seattle’s Burke Gilman Trail. People are attracted to it because this unassuming community doesn’t take itself too seriously. It’s a pedestrian-friendly area that offers many parks and trails for walking.

Ravenna’s thriving business core along 65th Street offers a varied blend that embraces everything from natural foods and new age bookstores to fine wines and ethnic dining. And of course plenty of cafes and coffee houses where friendly residents easily strike up casual conversations. Although Ravenna offers the occasional newer construction property, most homes are a mix of large and small older bungalows, brick tudors and Crafstman style.
